Even if your time is short, never enter straight into the subject as you risk antagonizing your counterpart. Remember to always thank them for their time and their hospitality. - It is very easy to find accommodation in Dakar, the country's capital and business centre.  There is a range of international luxury hotels and hotel residences for short stays and apartments and villas for longer stays.

- In Dakar, you can find restaurants from all over the world - Ivorian, Lebanese, Asian, Italian, French… Prices vary but Senegalese cuisine, which is rich and varied, is generally more affordable than Western restaurants.
